The afternoon Spain and Portugal went dark
This is Spain's electricity demand over two days, in five-minute steps. At 12:30 the country was drawing 27 gigawatts. Five minutes later it was 1.8, almost all of it on the islands, which kept their power. The dotted line is the same Monday and Tuesday a week later.
